My experience in China

In China, tea is always presented as a sign of respect. Tea is extremly big in china. They have it for breakfast lunch and dinner. So to ensure our knowledge on tea and how important we went to a Tea Banquet where they showed us the different tea's and how and what they were used for. Above is a photo of Rose petal tea which is sweet and tasty. It gives you good health and skin.

Although I didn't climb the entire wall i wore my shirt proudly at the end with a interview with Maria on my experience climbing the Great Wall.

The Journey Begins!!! THE GREAT WALL
The biggest man-made wall that you can see from space built between the 5th century BC and the 16th century to protect the northern borders of the Chinese Empire from Xiongnu attacks during the rule of successive dynasties. It is by far one of the most famous wall built between 220–206 BC by the first Emperor of China, Qin Shi Huang stretches over approximately 6,400 km .
Anyone who was there knew how terrefied I was. With the winds going a 1,000 miles an hour and with the steep hills!! I was literally crawling on my knees. Luckily I had Pro Mike to help me down... I definatley tried my best and I am super proud of the accomplishment on how far I made. This is by far one of the best experience I had in China!!

After a long day we went to a gorgeous restaurant where we had lots of food and drinks.

Above is a photo where we entered the doors of the Fobidden City. We first have to go through The Imperial city first, 4 gates. A city of 9,999 rooms and 800 building. the central access door was called the Marin gate better known as the ghost gate where Cherman Mao body was carried out

After a tasty lunch we visit the Bang Fu Chun Pearl Shop where we learned about pearls and the amount of life on oysters which dtermines the amount of pearls inside. She then demonstrated by opening a oyster and low and behold, gorgeous peach pearls laid in the muscles of the oyster. I was amazed on how a oyster created these pearls. After learning about these pearls we got a chance to shop and pick up some pearls for ourselves and our loved ones. I also learned that if you rub the pearls together it creates a powder residue. This is how you know they are authentic!

Here is a photo of the Emperor Cherman Mao whom everyone loved and cherished. "Long live the world of peace," is what they lived by- Cherman Mao. His body laid in a crystal preserved coffen 1977 where people could visit his body.A painting of him that we see above is redone each year. We were on Hing road where the parades are held each year. The road means ever lasting peace.

Here I am at the Tian’an Men Square. which use to be the main entrance to the imperial palace, then we entered to The Forbidden City, now called Palace Museum.

Our first Night in Beijing , china we were introduce to the people, there culture and to our faboulous group of men and women. From the Hotel straight to dinner. That day was a exciting day for me. The food was pretty good that day and it way different from the Chinese food we are use to here in the US. You will notice throughout the photo's that there is always tea available before your breakfast, lunch and dinner. It's traditional to have tea, it's a sign of respect. When I asked "where's the soy sauce?" they looked at me like I had three heads. In Beijing or in China rather, it is disrespectul to add extra ingredience to your food. It is looked as a sign of disrespect. Which I learned from the great Larry Tung!

Today we landed in Beijing, china. One of the newest airport and extremly big I might add!!

Here is our lovely tour guide Daniel whom is from Beijing. One of the best tour guide we could have ever chosen. He delt with us for 12 days and we all appreciated his daily and consistent energy. Dealing with 30 different personalities and being from a different Coutry is hard and he handled it better then anyone could of done... We thank him. And as he he said " we don't say goodbye only see you later" Thanks Daniel and to all the Teachers...thank you!! (that's not a suck up...hehehe :)

My Entrance to China was amazing experience! (except for the 16 hour flight...lol) This is Day 1 where my journey begans.
